More Than Just Wine Tasting
Each year, celebrants sample wine and cuisine from west coast wineries and restaurants. This year, all major west coast wine making regions are represented by nearly 80 wineries side by side with temptingly delicious food from nearly 50 of Central California’s finest restaurants representing a variety of cuisines. The 27th annual Celebration of Wine also features:
• Central California’s largest and most prestigious Silent Wine Auction.
• A sweet array of desserts and coffees.
• Live music and dancing with the Joe Lenigan Band.
• A Cooperage Demonstration from Barrels Unlimited showing how wine barrels are made.
• Drawing for print of the featured artwork by Brad Boling.
• Especially for Sponsors and Past Patrons of last year’s auction: The VIP Pre-Event from 2–3pm featuring delicious hors d’ oeuvres especially prepared by Chef Delaney Boling and paired with wines from the featured winery.
The purpose of A Celebration of Wine is to raise money for the Vincent E. Petrucci Library at the Viticulture and Enology Research Center (VERC) and Department of Viticulture and Enology located at California State University, Fresno, College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology.
